Responsibilities

 Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of our processes and document those processes

Write easy-to-understand workflow guides that our developer, project manager, and instructional design guides on team processes

 Create both technical documentation and visual flow charts to depict the process flows uncovered during your interviews

 Work to refine and update those documents as gaps and inconsistencies are discovered

 (Possibly) Create tutorials to help new contractors/hires get up to speed quickly

Requirements

 Proven working experience in technical writing, instructional writing, task analysis, or journalism.

 Ability to deliver high quality, detailed, professional-looking documentation (flow charts and technical documents)

 Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and flow chart methodology and software (we don’t have a specific software requirement)

 Excellent English writing skills

 Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures

 Strong interpersonal communication and interviewing skills for subject matter experts.

 Ability to synthesize and summarize data

 (Desired) Ability to help us create training based on the information you’ve discovered and compiled
