The writing center aims to hire students from across majors and disciplines who communicate effectively in writing and speech, who care about helping others improve their writing, who work well with others, and who love to learn and serve.
Successful applicants are invited to enroll in English 399R, a credit-bearing, paid academic internship that introduces students to theories and methods of peer tutoring in writing while providing hands-on tutoring experience in an apprenticeship environment.
