Volant is a small travel company based out of Salt Lake City, Utah specializing in arranging privately guided luxury and adventure tours around the world. Volant is seeking an intern to join the team this fall who is a skilled writer and researcher. The Travel Writer Intern will thoroughly research travel destinations, manage social media, manage Volant’s website, assist in creating travel itineraries, write travel articles as well as a wide range of travel related research projects.
Requirements:
- Excellent writing skills
- Excellent research skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to work hard
- Proficient working knowledge of Mac products: Pages, Notes, etc.
- Proficient working knowledge of Google platforms, specifically Google Sheets
- Proficient working knowledge of Word Press
- A love of all things TRAVEL
PLEASE NOTE: When you fill out the online application, please provide a detailed description explaining your interest in this internship as well as a 500 word travel article that explains why you’re the perfect candidate to the team. This internship includes a $1,000 stipend, and is part time (16 hours per week). Half of the work can be done remotely; although we do require one day in-office per week (please bring your own laptop if you have one). Volant is also willing to pay up to $800 for tuition costs associated with the internship if you decide to do the internship for university credit. These costs will be reimbursed. This internship is 13 weeks long, beginning September 18th and ending December 15th, 2017 (flexible).
