As an Assessment Intern, you will get a taste of job-specific skills like project management, assessment administration, and data analysis. But we also want to show you what it’s like to work in the Organizational Development industry and how organizations create real change. We work with a variety of well-recognized and accomplished organizations, which means you’ll see bits and pieces of nearly every Organizational Development topic or issue that companies deal with. Our target audience for survey results presentations and reporting is our clients’ Executive-level leaders, which means you will get a chance to observe senior-level leaders receiving impactful feedback that directly affects how they run their companies. It doesn’t get better than that! A Day In the Life The DecisionWise Assessment Team provides our clients the data they need to help them know how they are performing when it comes to their people. We do this through survey and assessment administration and extensive data analysis. We do the number-crunching, and our clients’ leaders use our recommendations to promote better working environments, employee engagement, and individual performance. You will be responsible for performing administrative, logistical, or coordination-related tasks as requested by the DecisionWise Assessment Team. These tasks will expose you to all parts of the assessment process and will contribute to the overall completion of the project. Typical tasks include: Managing manual processing tasks such as preparing materials, printing, binding, and shipping Answering phones Scanning, processing, and data entry for paper surveys Verifying the accuracy of data and numerical information included in client deliverables Additional projects and tasks as required by the Assessment Team That said, we work in a dynamic environment with constantly changing demands and processes. You may find yourself checking PowerPoint presentations, formatting documents, cleaning up electronic files, or learning a completely new task depending on what our clients need. We trust you to be proactive in helping us meet and exceed our clients’ expectations! What We Expect Your primary ‘customers’ will be the DecisionWise Assessment Team. This is a position that is ideal for someone who is organized and detail-oriented, personable, and enjoys interacting with lots of people. Planning & organization. Organized, detailed, reliable. Can handle multiple activities at once; breaks down larger projects into steps or tasks; can identify, manage and adjust priorities as needed. Results-oriented. Self-directed and takes initiative to learn and understand all aspects of the Assessment Team function; can work in a fast-paced environment and take on new challenges. Attention to detail. Can juggle multiple tasks while maintaining a strong attention to detail. Can focus in on what is most important to accomplish a task; anticipates and eliminates roadblocks. Computer skills . Computer proficiency, with particular familiarity with MS Word, PPT, Excel, and email programs. Team player. Can function well as part of a team and is committed to meeting expectations and requirements of team members. Quickly gains the trust and respect of others and builds rapport. Hours and Schedule Part-time, hourly position; 15-20 hours per week, Monday-Friday afternoons. Start date: Tuesday, September 5, 2017 . Position is based in Springville, Utah.
