Media Intern — Temple Square Hospitality

We are looking for a qualified intern to join our marketing team! Our marketing department produces quality work for all hospitality services, private events and tourism at Temple Square,

and we’re looking for interns who can contribute to our inbound marketing efforts. Interns should be prepared to work in a demanding work environment and expect to gain broad experience in various aspects of marketing, including: digital media, design, social media, content marketing, research, and analysis.

Responsibilities 

Digital Production

• Research audience and plan strategy
• Take pictures and videos
• Edit pictures and videos to be developed into content for social media pages and website
• Organizes and archives digital images and videos

Social Media

• Manage YouTube Channel
• Helps plan media content for Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
• Weekly performance tracking for media posts
• Assist with other marketing and outreach projects as needed

Requirements

We are looking for a creative self-starter who is enthusiastic about Temple Square. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are imperative. Experience with photo-editing and video-editing software is a must. Working knowledge of The Web and Social Media is preferred. The applicants will be required to submit a video sample (see guidelines below).

General Information 

• Temporary part-time position, 20 hours/week for 15 weeks (summer internship is May August, Fall internship is September December, Winter internship is January – April) $9.00/hour. Free meal. Temple Square Hospitality is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
