What We Need

Freshly Picked is a marketing engine! We need a part-time Social Media Intern who is passionate about creating an interactive community online and looking for a company where they can make an impact. The right person will oversee day-to-day social media initiatives; including writing and posting diverse content and developing strategies to optimize user engagement, drive action, and monetize the brand’s presence across all major channels.

The Social Media Intern will:

• Help maintain a social media calendar for short and long term efforts

• Monitor all engagement/responses from followers

• Analyze performance metrics to increase engagement and productivity of posts

• Imagine and create web posts that nurture community interaction and conversation

• Work with marketing and other departments to understand and develop brand voice

• Coordinating and developing effective contests/giveaways

• Daily answering of customer service questions on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter

• Look at metrics and trends, understand different audiences on different channels and tailor content to those audiences

• Monitoring online competitor presences/be knowledgeable about developing social trends and campaigns

• Curate and utilize user generated content

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of all social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest.
• Curious nature to drive innovation
• Willing to learn new software and tools
• Good communication and listening skills.
• Smart-ish
• Strong desire to succeed and help a team meet goals

Logistics stuff

This job is part-time and currently located in Provo, UT. We are building a beautiful, new office in Lehi, UT, an awesome tech-hub 25 minutes south of downtown Salt Lake City.
