Summer 2018 Paid Internship

Zions Bank is looking for an intern for our Speaking on Business division of our Marketing Department. Speaking on Business is a broadcast aired in Utah and Idaho and focuses on small businesses to help publicize them and acknowledge their success. Zions is looking for an energetic, outgoing intern to be a part of this program and work alongside the host of Speaking on Business. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of and experience the elements of a broadcasting!

Responsibilities:

Conduct interviews with local companies and business leaders to gather information
Draft scripts to be used for the broadcasts
Research local companies to identify potential businesses to feature
Attend community events to network and learn about local companies
Attend filming events for Speaking on Business to get experience with on-camera interviews and see how the film crew captures a company’s story on video
Assist with the digital application on social media
Create and edit Power Point presentations to be used for speaking engagements

Qualifications

Current student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications or other related degree
Must be creative, innovative and a self-starter
Excellent Power Point skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Understanding social media
Comfortable meeting new people and networking
Presentation skills a plus
