Social Innovation Projects (SIP) is an experiential learning opportunity for students to intern with world-renowned organizations to help solve specific social issues in the world. Using their specific skills, students work on cross-disciplinary teams to create a global impact. Past students have worked with organizations fighting human trafficking in North America, decreasing poverty in sub-Saharan Africa, and providing greater access to healthcare in Cambodia. Students are placed on teams of three to four people to produce a deliverable requested by the organization. They are expected to contribute seven to nine hours of work each week and receive three credits for this on-campus internship. Learn more and sign up here!
