About Utah Community & Refugee Partnership Center (UCRPC)
We are a nonprofit 501C3 organization in Provo. We have been relocating refugees from Salt Lake County to Utah County since last May 2016. We help refugees successfully integrate by educating the community and the refugee by bringing the two groups together via community partnerships to develop, fund and support services that allow refugees to become self-sufficient.

SOCIAL MEDIA and BLOG INTERN

As the Social Media and Blog intern, you will focus on supporting UCRPC’s advocacy strategy and campaigns, create new content and research relevant content to publish to UCRPC’S Blog, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts, schedule and manage content on Hoot suite, update blog content, find and select images, write captions, engage with field offices, partners, Allied Agencies and UCRPC’s staff to develop new content, review and create content for the website, including updating pages, monitoring press mentions, attend UCRPC events to develop content and take photos for blog and other social media platforms; follow up to interface with social media followers/comments on our posts as well as liking and commenting on partner social media pages to increase our following and community partnerships, and assist with monitoring and reporting on the success of social media initiatives. This internship is designed to be both educational and practical.

The Social Media intern will learn how to take his or her knowledge and skills from the classroom and directly apply them to our work environment. The intern will assist under the direction of our Director of Government and Community Relations.

GRANT and FUNDRAISING INTERN

UCRPC is looking for a student intern who is passionate about supporting the needs of uprooted populations through helping to write grants for program funding and assisting with donor engagement and individual giving campaigns. As the Grant and Fundraising Intern, you will assist our Planning and Development department leaders and other professionals with a wide range of projects related to grant writing, researching funding opportunities, nonprofit management, creating correspondence letters, and other development projects that promote the mission and vision of this nonprofit organization. This internship is designed to be both educational and practical to your professional aspirations and career. The Grant and Fundraising Intern will learn how to take his or her knowledge and skills from the classroom and directly apply them to our office environment. The intern will assist under the direction of our Grant Writer or Director of Planning and Development.

HEALTH EDUCATION and PROMOTION INTERN

The Health Education and Promotion Intern is responsible for providing leadership for the development, implementation, and assessment of health education and health promotion programs for the Utah Community and Refugee Partnership Center in cooperation and collaboration with other nonprofit and healthcare organization, and hospitals. We aim to empower refugees to take active roles in their health and wellness.
