Internships in the Deseret News Arts and Entertainment department is an opportunity to gain excellent experience, build a portfolio and to write about a variety of topics.

The Deseret News is continuously looking for talented seasonal student intern writers and copy editors for the Church News (an official publication of the LDS Church), which provides news, and information for members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
The internships offer students a distinctive journalism experience unlike any other. The News Division is a unique newsroom where TV, radio, print and web reporters work together in an environment that provides news content for five different media platforms.
IN-DEPTH AND INVESTIGATIVE TEAM
Paid interns will work alongside seasoned, full-time reporters in searching databases, mining data sources, interviewing sources and writing in-depth stories that explore solutions to pressing issues of interest to our local and national audiences. There will also be opportunities to write digital-only content for deseretnews.com. Work will be published online and in the Deseret News local and national print editions.
