About Utah Community & Refugee Partnership Center (UCRPC)
We are a nonprofit 501C3 organization in Provo. We have been relocating refugees from Salt Lake County to Utah County since last May 2016. We help refugees successfully integrate by educating the community and the refugee by bringing the two groups together via community partnerships to develop, fund and support services that allow refugees to become self-sufficient.

About the Internship
Provides a variety of office and field activities to manage and monitor a rapid re-housing/transition-in-place program for families, performs direct client services, and compiles related documentation.
Work involves orienting all eligible participants to the program and providing housing search and supportive services to promote participants self-sufficiency, integration into the community, and permanency in housing; performing administrative tasks involved in the review and maintenance of a caseload of program participants. The principal duties are performed both in a general office environment and in the field and community where program participants reside.
About the Internship
Utah Community and Refugee Partnership Center is looking for a student intern who is passionate about supporting the needs of uprooted populations by help refugees find jobs.
Under supervision, the employment specialist intern provides direct client services in the areas of employment counseling, client needs assessment, vocational evaluation, employment preparation, and training, referral to community resources and support services, program eligibility, and/or job development/placement; and performs related duties as required.
