Hourly Wage: 10.00
Description of Duties
• Head Student Producer for a Children’s Literacy program
• Assist in scheduling interviews and reaching out to guests
• Write information for the host and be the expert on each guest that comes in for an interview
• Think outside the box to come up with new ideas for feature segments
• Have your voice on the radio during man on the street interviews or other new features
• Create stories that are engaging and organized for a weekly program
Skills and Qualifications
• Exceptional writing skills
• Love of books and children’s learning
• An eagerness to work in a creative, fast-paced environment
• Good organizational skills
• An ability to create successful projects from concept to completion
• Good interpersonal skills
• An ability and a willingness to take direction
• Computer skills
• A self-starter who can meet deadlines
• An ability to make good use of available time
