As a leading provider of language services and translation, we have continued our commitment to help students take a leap into a growth industry. Language services is a $48B industry. Our company provides translation and localization services to some of the top businesses and organizations in Utah, across the US and globally.

As a member of our ops team, interns get the hands‐on experience of project coordination, translation review tasks, program management, linguist evaluations, translation technologies and other great skills. We work with translators and linguists all over the world, so using native and secondary language skills is great value. Internships Provide Skill Development in the Following Areas

  • Coordination of translation and localization projects
  • Evaluate resource requirements, competency and qualifications of global linguists
  • Work with project managers to help meet delivery requirements for projects
  • Allocate language service jobs to meet the project deadlines and cost constraints
  • Provide quality reviews, QA file checks, and asset reviews pre and post delivery
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including work files, assets, glossary, TMs, style guides and other resources within UNIFY
  • Monitor and control project status to ensure on‐time delivery
  • Liaise with sales, operations leadership and scoping to support client communications
  • Work with our supply chain managers to help negotiate with linguists, establish and maintain excellent relationships with translators and proofreaders
  • Comply with relevant and applicable procedures and processes that support ISO
  • Support processes and quality programs
  • Help determine best solution for team members and clients to complete the projects

Skill Requirements

  • Detail orientation with the ability to multitask
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Creative, resourceful and results‐oriented
  • Independence in carrying out assigned tasks
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast‐paced environment
  • Highly‐developed computer skills (MS Office, Windows)
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, other languages would be an asset
  • Enrolled in a secondary degree program
