This is the final week to apply for the Spring/Summer 2019 Internship program at the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust. This internship (an exclusive partnership between BYU and the Trust) allows up to three students each semester the opportunity to be involved in the real work of a world-renowned cultural non-profit. Students work in marketing, development, digital content, education, and special events.

A few things to know:

  • You can use scholarships and federal funds to help pay your internship program costs (tuition)
  • The College of Humanities generously offers funding to students on international internships
  • Students are afforded weekly access to the SBT archives to pursue their own research projects. Former interns have used this opportunity to collect research for future graduate studies, for an honors thesis, or for publication.

You can learn more about this internship by visiting https://byuinstratford.wordpress.com/, a blog maintained by our interns at the Trust, and at https://kennedy.byu.edu/shakespeare-birthplace-trust/, or by meeting with Dr. Duerden (richard_duerden@byu.edu) or Trina Harding (trina_harding@byu.edu), the internship coordinator.

APPLICATIONS FOR Spring/Summer 2019 ARE DUE BY NOVEMBER 30.
