Marketing Project Coordinator, full-time, Paid Intern for up to 12 months
The Marketing division of the Family History Department is seeking an intern to serve as project coordinator that will support the product marketing team, mainly helping with content coordination with limited execution. The marketing division is responsible for outreach to member and non-member users of the FamilySearch.org website and other Family History Department products.
The purpose of this position is to assist marketing managers and team with many transactional and time-consuming tasks, coordinating projects, updating calendars, sourcing images, inputting system messages for volunteer coordination, between groups within headquarters and with local offices in international areas. This role will contribute to our domestic and global communication processes by streamlining our existing steps to achieve maximum efficiencies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- At least 1 year of experience in a related field not required, but preferred.
- Detail oriented, a positive attitude, and interest in learning. Resolves most questions and problems and refers only the most complex issues to higher levels.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, good research, analytical and data summation skills, and tasks requiring advanced independent analysis and judgment. Must be thoroughly proficient in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint.
- Experience publishing to common blog and or social media platforms platforms preferred (i.e. WordPress, Percolate).
- Spanish language proficiency a plus.
QUALIFICATIONS

Paid Intern – Humanitarian Services, SLC, UT
PURPOSES
This position is primarily for educational or religious purposes and should be used for providing valuable educational experiences for the Intern. It is to give the Intern an opportunity to see how principles and practices learned in their educational institutions are applied in actual work setting. Under general supervision, the Intern performs work as assigned by the department.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities may vary by assignment depending on department and need. The Intern receives assignments from supervising staff. The Manager reviews the Intern’s work occasionally. The supervisor reviews each assignment as it is completed. The Intern is expected to meet rigid and challenging deadlines, work in harmony with other people, take direction on each assignment, and give full attention to detail. Independence in working, tact, and diplomacy are required. Sound judgment of Church doctrine, history, organization, policy and protocol are also expected.
QUALIFICATIONS
Paid Interns are qualified while enrolled in an educational institution and for one year following graduation. They must sign a Paid Internship Engagement Letter.
