FRONT ROW REVIEWERS INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

POSITIONS:

Reviewer/Writer, Editor/Publisher, Marketing Assistant, Grant Researcher, Grant Writer, New Market Researcher, Public Relations, Advertising, Social Media Intern

All interns will need to write reviews occasionally as this is what our company does—review. But there are many other opportunities. All reviewers get two (and sometimes more) comp tickets—often to pricey and top quality events. We review all kinds of productions: theater, dance, ballet, opera, rock concerts, museums—if it can be considered arts, we can review it. Our CEO will be responsible for making sure tickets are available.  (For instance, we review everything from community theater to Broadway Across America shows like Hamilton. This may or may not be an option outside of Utah, but that is what we are working toward.)

Other responsibilities can include: editing and publishing, social media duties, opening new markets outside Utah, grant research, grant writing, non-profit start up duties, supervising a team, accounting duties. We will also invite the intern to be part of a dynamic team where their new ideas will be welcomed and encouraged.

We work as a team, so you will have opportunities for team building, supervising, and so forth, and sometimes even do reviews as a team to learn co-writing skills.

Note: We are looking to expand the brand outside of Utah. As you learn the Front Row Reviewers business model, you may want to start a branch outside of Utah. This could potentially become a well-paying business, so that is something you might want to consider. More information about that during your interview and internship experience, if that is interesting to you.

QUALIFICATIONS:

We are looking for people who like the arts, though you don’t have to be experts at all. Just open to the experience and look for the GOOD in the productions. We are not critics. Our tag is Celebrating the GOOD in the Arts. We’d like interns from outside of Utah, if possible, but there’s plenty to do in Utah, as well. If you are hoping to work in the non-profit sector, this would be a great fit. We want people who have enough time to invest in the internship, a vehicle or other transportation to get to the gigs, can work on a tight deadline, have some writing experience, are flexible, dependable, and willing to work as a team.

This can be FT or PT and we’re willing to have it stretch as far into a semester or two as needed for you to get the hours required.

Wage: this in unpaid, but you do get tickets to events. We do have other freebies, such as places to stay in certain towns, etc.

How to Apply: Please send an email with your qualifications and what you’d like to accomplish during your internship to: editorjenniferleigh@gmail.com, or jen@frontrowreviewers.com

Start and End date: Flexible
