WRITING/REPORTING INTERNSHIP
DESCRIPTION
Our Writing/Reporting Intern will work with our editorial staff to pursue Church news and other articles related to Latter-day Saints. Reporting will include finding people to interview, being present at Church-related events when necessary, and proposing your own story ideas. Our writing intern will also have the opportunity to gain editing experience and write articles from press releases.
This position is located in Alpine, UT and/or remote.
QUALIFICATIONS
*Strong and creative writing skills and excellent grammar
*Strong interviewing skills
*Strong editing skills
*Some photography or other multimedia production experience a plus
*Self-starter (we want to hear your ideas and help you see them through)
*Ability to work independently/without constant supervision
*Desire to learn
*Resourceful, detail-oriented and able to follow through with all assigned tasks
*Desire to share the gospel and be an online missionary

SOCIAL MEDIA STRATEGY INTERN
DESCRIPTION
Our Social Media Strategy Intern will work with our Strategic Marketing Manager to implement social media campaigns, create social media partnerships, curate and create content, and grow Meridian Magazine’s social media following and presence.
