Internship Description: Reporting to the Director Digital Markeing, a dōTERRA Digital Web Content Intern is focused on implementing, developing and maintaining dōTERRA’s digital content in the US market.  This role, in collaboration with dōTERRA content owners and other web specialists, will work to make sure dōTERRA’s digital content is accessible and accurate for dōTERRA’s US market, Wellness Advocates and their customers and prospects. The end-goal is to make critical online information accurate, timely, predictable, optimized and 100% reliable … ultimately so Wellness Advocates can build trust in their own essential oil classes and conversations.

This internship position is focused on managing digital content in the SAP hybris web content management and product cockpit systems. A knowledge of HTML basics, content production calendars, deadlines and branding standards is required. This is not a web design or web programming role; it is a web content role using a web content management system and offers a wide variety of experience in working with various dōTERRA departments and digital media.

Responsibilities: The ideal candidate must have experience in digital marketing, content management, and know dōTERRA systems, procedures, departments, and priorities well. Must have the ability to spot inaccuracies, imperfections, typos, errors or needed corrections, and make necessary fixes. The person who fills this role should be ‘hungry to make content right’ in digital media. This requires a service minded, “can-do” attitude, trust, and excellent prioritization and communication skills.   Web needs at dōTERRA are constantly evolving and changing as needs arise. It’s critical for the person in this role to know current and upcoming projects and where they are going, focusing on the positive reception and use of dōTERRA digital media, using time wisely while focusing on top priorities. Of course, the ideal candidate finds satisfactions in content accuracy, keeping content fresh, works hard, and be generally optimistic and upbeat.

Qualifications

  • 6-24 months’ experience in digital marketing or equivalent school classes
  • Basic HTML skills, web building skills preferred
  • Must be able to collaborate well with the web team, project managers, and IT resources—but also be capable of working independently.
  • Very detail oriented and has a track record of reliably meeting content management deadlines.
  • Must proactively solve problems and create solutions, prioritize projects and tasks.
