Each summer the Utah Lake Commission Public Outreach team takes on a seasonal Outreach Specialist to assist the Outreach Coordinator with events and public outreach. This is a paid position ($10/hour) at 25-35 hours a week. Start time is typically mid-April.

The following are some of the potential duties of this position:

  • Manage social media accounts for Utah Lake
  • Assist with blog posts, a monthly newsletter, and other written publications
  • Oversee and grow the Utah Lake “Adopt-a-Shoreline” program
  • Coordinate with volunteers for various projects around the lake
  • Assist with planning Utah Lake Commission events
  • Assist with general office duties
