Staple Clothing is a newly founded company that gives people the ability to connect with the global community through fashion. We partner with design organizations across the world to produce modern clothing that highlights traditional design from various countries and regions. We believe our brand can spearhead the globalization movement in the fashion world, and we are looking for talented, driven, and hardworking interns who have an interest in fashion, business, culture, or working on a team dedicated to executing upon our massive vision.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in depth cultural research and information consolidation through expert and citizen interviews, literature reviews, and internet research
  • Create high-validity educational resources to enable cultural awareness education and appreciation
  • Form relationships with people in different communities around the world
  • Interview and manage relationships with academics and industry experts
  • Develop internal presentations to deliver to company to promote continuous education in cultural awareness and cross-cultural collaboration practices

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft office tools (Word, Excel, and Powerpoint)
  • Strong ability to work both collaboratively and independently in a high-growth, start-up culture
  • Direct, honest, and respectful approach to problem solving and discussions with peers
  • Outstanding communication (speaking and writing), interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Deep interest in modern fashion and global cultures
  • High attention to detail, the ability to multitask and always stay two steps ahead, and demonstrated creativity in problem-solving
  • Second language a plus but by no means required

Location: Virtual due to COVID-19

Hours: 10-20 per Week

Salary: Unpaid, Commissions and Bonuses Based on Performance
