Stage Marketing is looking for a talented, creative writer and editor to assist in both writing and editing. We are looking for someone with good judgment and attention to detail who can assist Stage Marketing in their writing and editing needs. This is a part-time internship we are looking to fill quickly.

Duties
  • Researching online to find credible sources
  • Interviewing clients and subject-matter experts via phone, video conference, or email
  • Writing social media posts, press releases, articles, website content, books, and other content/copy
  • Writing or editing content for search engine optimization (SEO)
  • Working with in-house editors, designers, and project managers
  • Reading content and correcting for errors in spelling, punctuation, and grammar
  • Editing and rewriting copy to make it easier for readers to understand
  • Verifying facts included in draft content
  • Working with other writers to help improve their content
  • Planning and editing content according to the relevant publication’s style and editorial policy
  • Ensuring that content is aligned with clients’ goals
  • Editing content directly in InDesign and WordPress
