Instructional Design Internship at Domo
Role:
- Need instructional design intern skilled with redesigning existing content and integrating with subject-matter experts in order to create fantastic learner experiences for our clients.
Qualifications:
- Working toward degree in Instructional Design, Education, or English (or related field)
- Completion of courses in instructional design, curriculum development, writing, editing, and/or professional writing
- Interest in corporate instructional design, especially classroom and elearning strategies
- Experience in Adobe Creative Suite desired
- Exposure to authoring tools (Captivate, Articulate, Storyline, etc.) a plus
Responsibilities:
- Design and generate new and exciting courseware
- Work with experts to analyze technical product content, compile and edit content into quality video, classroom, and online training
- Manage time to meet deadlines and produce quality deliverables
- Edit and redesign existing courseware using industry best practices and creative approaches
- Foster a positive corporate culture
- Thrive in an agile, fast-paced corporate environment
- Convey a consistent level of professionalism
Required skills:
- Must be creative
- Must be interested in newest ID techniques, including updated technologies and engagement strategies
- Must be able to apply instructional design standards to highly technical content
- Must be organized, detail-oriented, and articulate
- Must be analytic and a problem-solver
- Must be a clear and concise writer with exceptional editing skills
