SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING INTERN

The Opportunity

Help tell the Pluralsight story through our social media channels. The Social Media Marketing Intern will work closely with our Social Media Manager to create and publish engaging content that supports larger marketing efforts.

What you’ll own:

  • Brainstorm ideas for social media strategies and content
  • Help schedule a weekly social media calendar
  • Assist the social media community manager in monitoring online conversations
  • Assist in optimizing, editing, and publishing blog posts
  • Coordinate outreach to blog contributors for writing opportunities

Experience you’ll need:

  • Enthusiasm for current social media platforms and trends
  • A passion for clear, concise writing
  • Strong communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • An understanding of branding and an eye for good design
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Docs
  • Knowledge of AP Style a plus
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (Junior/Senior status) or a recent graduate in English, Communication, Marketing or writing-related field

TECHNICAL DOCUMENTATION INTERN

The Documentation team, under Pluralsight Support, creates quality customer-facing documentation on help.pluralsight.com. We work across this fast-growing company with Product, Product Marketing, and other teams to drive positive customer experiences and facilitate self-serve solutions. At Pluralsight, we’re changing the way technology professionals and teams learn, evolve, and deliver.

  • You enjoy writing and explaining processes to others

Experience you’ll need:

  • Junior student majoring in English, Technical documentation, Communications, Journalism, UI/UX, or related fields.
  • Experience collaborating with teams to achieve a common goal
  • Experience writing process-driven documentation
  • Experience in customer service and taking a customer’s point of view
  • Curiosity and willingness to question processes and systems
  • Strong interpersonal communication and diplomacy skills
  • Desire to understand new or unfamiliar technical systems, processes, and terminology
