Sorenson Communications is looking for a qualified intern to join the Human Resources team for the summer of 2018. This position will work with the Employee Relations Manager and is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level to provide the highest level of service to all client groups.
This paid, full-time internship will last from May 28th, 2019 to July 31st, 2019, and is based in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Supports the Employee Relations Manager (ERM) and other HR leaders with regards to all aspects of Human Resources.
- Observes input and direction to managers across the business regarding organizational and individual alignment with employee expectations, organizational goals, FCC compliance, state, local, and Federal regulatory requirement and employment/leave laws.
- Assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures.
- Assists in the development and implementation of training materials.
CORPORATE LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT:
The Corporate Learning & Development (CL&D) team at Sorenson is made up of a talented team of educators with the charge to develop and implement an innovative program aimed at elevating our leaders to high performing, top notch individuals. We are seeking an intern that can realize our mission and gain meaningful experience by contributing and supporting the team in a variety of ways.
The Intern selected for this position will work under the direction of the CL&D Director. The Intern will be supporting the development of training materials and resources, either via live/virtual instruction or self-directed course development. This is a dynamic position that will support various members of the CL&D team, as well as several different projects.
This paid, full-time internship will last from May 28th, 2019 to July 31st, 2019and is based in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Support CL&D in designing and reviewing current materials used in training programs.
- Assist and participate in filming videos for self-directed training modules.
- Conference and workshop planning.
- File management support.
- Other duties as assigned.
Sorenson Communications is looking for a qualified intern to join their Outreach team during the summer of 2019.
This paid, full-time internship will last from May 28th, 2019 to July 31st, 2019 and is based in Salt Lake City Utah.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- The primary responsibilities of this role will support the Outreach Training team to execute trainings for Sorenson Trainers nationwide.
- Develop and implement effective programs to train and educate Trainers.
- Work alongside others to brainstorm and create instructional programs for Sorenson Trainers to revamp their technical and sales skills.
- Assist with a variety of operational tasks in the Outreach team.
- Other duties as assigned.
SVRS is looking for a qualified intern to join the Marketing team for the summer of 2018. The selected intern will gain exposure to various roles in the Marketing department.
This paid, full-time internship will last from May 28th, 2019 to July 31st, 2019, and is based in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepares content, including testing and review, for consumer delivery.
- Creates and develops multimedia video content for customer stories, internal company announcements, social media, product marketing, and other enterprise-wide projects.
- Assist in promotional efforts.
- Coordinate event plans and timelines.
- Support web development with updating site content, documenting processes and changes, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
