The University has approved on-site internships for fall semester as long as the internship provider and the intern sign additional paperwork before the internship begins. Role Description
Have a passion for digital marketing, social media, blog and content creation? Cosmic Pictures is looking for a social media rock star to join our team located in Salt Lake City, UT. Great opportunity to learn and grow in the world of media and entertainment!
Responsibilities include:
- Work with Marketing to create and execute campaigns across Social Media Platforms including Instagram, FB, Twitter, Pinterest
- Creating weekly and monthly editorial calendars
- Selecting the most relevant and successful hashtags using hashtag generators
- Community management – responding to comments and direct messages on all social media platforms
- Writing blog posts and working with others to coordinate blog posts
- Tracking social media engagement to identify high-performing campaigns
- Monitoring emerging social media tools, trends, and applications
- Researching trends within the film industry
- Team player – helping with whatever is needed
Basic Qualifications:
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with the major social media platforms including Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Snap and Google+
- Comfortable with working with Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Proven self-starter and ability to balance multiple priorities
- Strong interest in and passion for Digital Marketing, new technologies, and Social Media
Would be nice:
- CMS experience with WordPress
- Knowledge of social media analytics software including Facebook Insights, Google Analytics and Twitter Analytics to track audience engagement and campaign performance
- Experience writing for online audiences

- Pay rate: $10-12/hour, approximately 20-25 hours week, willing to work around school schedule
